G3 is seeking to hire a motivated Land Planner – Entry Level Landscape Architect. The successful applicant will assist with site planning, rezonings, landscapes/hardscapes/irrigation design, entry feature design, and public meetings for residential, commercial and municipal land development projects, both large and small. Successful candidates will be expected to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with the project team and stakeholders.
Position is eligible for full company benefit package, upon completion of probationary period, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, paid time off, holiday pay, and other benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Confer with clients, architects, and engineering personnel as well as municipal staff.
Perform site due diligence and research on projects as required.
Assist with the preparation of plans and reports for relevant project design elements under the guidance and supervision of a licensed professional landscape architect.
Perform design tasks on assigned projects under the supervision of landscape architect, including drawings, reports, and required applications to regulatory agencies.
Work within defined project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
Perform related tasks associated with this position as may be assigned.
Light travel may be required.
Bachelor's degree or higher in landscape architecture or related field such as architecture or planning from an accredited program.
Functionally proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Working knowledge of graphic software programs (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, Illustrator).
Functional knowledge of AutoCAD is required (proficiency is a plus).
Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently or on a team.
Ability to work within budget and schedule constraints on multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient written & oral communication skills; ability to comfortably interact with peers, staff members, clients, and the general public.
