The Land Planner will be responsible assisting with site planning efforts and property research associated with various residential and commercial development projects. Additionally, duties will include due-diligence research, yield studies, assistance with rezoning application efforts, representation at public meetings as well as coordination with clients on various projects. Maintaining consistent and appropriate communication with principals, clients, consultants and public officials involved with each potential project is required. This position may require work after hours as well as travel.
Prepare detailed site plans using Civil 3D and AutoCAD for residential and commercial projects.
Efficiently draft site plans using AutoCAD as well as utilize GIS as needed for preliminary base mapping as required
Review and interpretation of local zoning code as well as land development regulations.
Ensuring planning efforts are in compliance with local and state law.
Preliminary site assessments and due diligence associated with site acquisitions.
Assistance with the preparation and submission of rezoning applications.
Assist with presentations and representation at public meetings.
Build and maintain effective relationships with local, state and elected officials as well as municipality staff.
Coordination with civil engineers, architects, wetland and geotechnical consultants, surveyors, traffic engineers and other consultants as needed.
Consistent collaboration with senior management, consultants, clients and stakeholders.
Complete responsibilities within project scope and schedule.
Collaboration with project management and survey teams
Assist in maintaining client relationships by providing exceptional services and quality through our deliverable.
The ability to meet deadlines and provide high-quality service to the client.

Bachelor’s degree in land use planning/landscape architecture/civil engineering or related field preferred
