G3 Engineering & Surveying strives to create a culture of energy, passion, commitment, perseverance, and efficiency. G3 Engineering seeks internship candidates who are eager to experience all aspects of our work. The ideal candidates are driven, eager to learn more about all that G3 does, work well on a team, and able to work in-person at one of the four branches for their internship. Interns should demonstrate a willingness to learn and technical curiosity, as well as possess strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.

College Internship Program
Our college internship opportunities run from late May to early August, with flexibility to set specific dates. Internship positions for college students are Civil Intern, Surveying, Business/Marketing Intern, and HR Intern. To access the full Internship/Co-Op Handbook, click here.
Key Responsibilities
- All Interns:
- Play a hands-on role in projects, including attendance at project meetings as requested
- Be willing and able to participate in light travel
- Civil Interns:
- Use CAD Software to help create or modify drawings
- Update project drawings based off the supervisor’s feedback
- Draft technical memos and parts of project reports
- Surveying Interns:
- Assist with fieldwork, equipment setup, and accurate data gathering
- Business/Marketing Interns:
- Regularly use Canva, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft platforms
- Understand and track the business side of Instagram, Facebook/Meta Suite, and LinkedIn
- Draft newsletter blasts and press releases for partnerships/client outreach
- HR Interns:
- Assist with administrative tasks such as compliance management and internal client services
- Review hiring-related documentation, including references and background checks
- Manage contact with guests and clients (Employee Relations)
Eligibility
Applicants must be:
- Entering either their Junior or Senior year of college/university
- Majoring in an applicable field
- Civil Intern: Civil Engineering or related major
- Surveying: Forestry, Land Development, Survey, or related major
- Business/Marketing: Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related major
- HR: Human Resources, Public Relations, Business, Psychology, or related major
- Familiar and/or proficient in the role-specific software (ie Civil Interns should have a basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D)
- In good academic standing
High School Internship Program
Our high school Civil Intern program runs for the duration of June and operates on a 10hr/week schedule. To access the full Internship/Co-Op Handbook, click here.

- Civil Interns
- Play a hands-on role in projects, including attendance at project meetings as requested
- Be willing and able to participate in light travel
- Learn the basics of Civil Engineering through personal experiences and introductory courses on Software such as AutoCAD
Eligibility
Applicants must be:
- Entering their Freshmen year of college/university
- Majoring and/or interested in Civil Engineering
- Able to work at least twice a week for a total of 10 hours per week during the month of June
