David C. Gantt, PE
Chief Executive Officer/Senior Partner
David Gantt has more than 34 years of civil engineering and site planning experience in residential, commercial, institutional, and municipal projects. As a licensed professional engineer in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Maryland, David has worked locally in the Lowcountry for 24+ years. Much of his work over the last couple of decades has been throughout Georgetown, Horry, and Brunswick counties, as well as the City of Myrtle Beach and the city of Conway.
David is active in the community that he lives in, including memberships and involvement in the American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce. He is serving as a board member for Georgetown County Economic Development and on the MBREDC (Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation) Prospect & Product Development Committee. David leads the strategic planning effort for the company and is responsible for overall operations for our officers.
James H. Green, PE
Chief Financial Officer/Senior Partner
Jim Green brings more than 35 years of expertise in land development, civil engineering, and construction management to G3 Engineering & Surveying. After graduating from the Citadel, he began his career as a designer and project manager for a Charleston area engineering firm, so he explicitly understands development in the coastal areas of South Carolina.
Jim also brings a unique perspective from the development side, spending more than 11 years as director/vice president of Development for the National and Regional Land Developing Firms. Throughout his career, he has developed or managed the development of more than 7,500 residential units, throughout the Carolinas. This experience allows Jim to design communities with his developer mentality.
Jim is passionate about community involvement and has served in the following roles:

- HGTC School of Engineering Advisory Board – Director
- Coastal Carolina University School of Engineering Science Advisory Board – Chairman

Felix H. Pitts, RLA
Chief Business Development Officer/Senior Partner
Felix Pitts has more than 24 years of site planning, entitlement, and commercial project experience for resort, residential, and commercial clients. Such projects have involved site planning and master planning, rezoning, annexations, planned use development (PUD) preparation, landscape, hardscape and lighting design, irrigation plan coordination, civil design coordination, project utility coordination, and construction management.
Felix graduated cum laude from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University with a degree in landscape architecture and a minor in horticulture. He currently serves as vice chairman for the Horry County CTC or C-Fund Committee that approves funding to improve and/or resurface existing municipal, state, and county-maintained roadways.
Ken Crawford, PLS
Survey Principal & Manager
Ken Crawford is backed by 37 years of experience in land surveying in various ranges of surveying projects in North and South Carolina, where he is also licensed at a professional land surveyor, with more than 7 years’ experience working as survey principal and manager at G3.
A graduate of Horry-Georgetown Technical College with an associate’s degree in civil engineering, Ken is also involved in the community as a member of Leadership Georgetown County Class of XXVII and enjoys golfing, hunting, and fishing when he’s not working.
