Wednesday February 11, 2026
PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC G3 Engineering & Surveying proudly celebrates its 15th anniversary this week, marking a milestone in the firm’s growth, service, and commitment to the Southeastern United States. To commemorate this significant occasion, G3 is launching the G3 Engineering & Surveying Scholarship Program, reinforcing its long-standing dedication to education, workforce development, and community investment.

Fifteen Years of Growth and Service
G3 Engineering & Surveying was founded in 2011 by David Gantt and Jim Green. Over time, the firm expanded, adding Felix Pitts as partner and including landscape architecture to the portfolio of services, followed by Ken Crawford and a dedicated surveying division.
Over the past 15 years, G3 has grown into a full-service civil engineering and land surveying firm with offices in Pawleys Island, Myrtle Beach, Greenville, SC and Wilmington, NC serving clients across seven states in the Southeast. The firm has built a reputation for strong communication, efficient project delivery, and collaborative partnerships across public and private sectors.
“Reaching our 15th anniversary is a meaningful milestone for G3 Engineering & Surveying,” said David Gantt, PE, Chief Executive Officer. “What began as a small firm built on trust and hard work has grown into a multi-state practice because of our people, our clients, and our commitment to doing things the right way.”
Investing in the Next Generation
As part of its anniversary celebration, G3 Engineering & Surveying is launching a new annual scholarship program to support students pursuing careers aligned with the firm’s professional services. The G3 Engineering & Surveying Scholarship Program will award three scholarships of $1,000 each year to students in North Carolina or South Carolina who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to responsible community stewardship.
The program is open to students at any advanced academic level, including graduating high school seniors, and eligible students may apply each academic year. Fields of study include civil engineering, surveying and geomatics, stormwater management, geographic information systems (GIS), land planning, landscape architecture, and related engineering or STEM disciplines aligned with G3 services.
Strengthening Communities Through Education
Scholarship recipients are selected through a competitive review process conducted by internal G3 Engineering & Surveying teams, with final selections made by designated members of the G3 Advisory Board. Criteria and application information is available at https://g3engineering.org/scholarship/.
“Our 15th anniversary is not just about reflecting on how far we’ve come,” said Jim Green, Chief Financial Officer. “It’s about investing in the future of our profession and supporting students who will help shape resilient infrastructure, thoughtful land development, and sustainable communities.”
Looking Ahead
As G3 Engineering & Surveying celebrates 15 years of success, the firm remains focused on continued growth, innovation, and meaningful community engagement. With a growing team, expanding its footprint across the Southeast, and dedicated investment in education, G3 is well positioned for the years ahead.
