G3 Scholarship Program

G3 Engineering & Surveying is committed to strengthening the future of the engineering and planning professions by supporting students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to responsible community and environmental stewardship.

The G3 Engineering & Surveying Scholarship Program provides financial support to students in North Carolina and South Carolina who are pursuing educational pathways aligned with G3’s professional services. The program is open to students at any class year, including graduating high school seniors, and eligible students may apply each academic year. Each year, G3 Engineering & Surveying awards three (3) scholarships of $1,000 to deserving students.

Applicants must be pursuing a degree or certification in a discipline related to G3’s areas of practice:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Surveying and Geomatics
  • Stormwater Management
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Land Planning
  • Landscape Architecture
  • Related engineering or STEM disciplines aligned with these services

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be enrolled in, or plan to attend, an accredited college, university, or technical institution in NC or SC
  • Pursue a degree or certification aligned with G3’s areas of service
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Demonstrate academic commitment, leadership, community involvement, and environmental responsibility
  • High school seniors may apply with intent to enroll. Scholarship awards to high school seniors are contingent upon acceptance to an eligible institution.

Applicants must submit:

  • A completed online scholarship application available at www.G3Engineering.org
  • An official high school or college transcript from the most recent academic term
  • Two references: One personal and one educational references that address the applicant’s character, ethics, and perseverance.

Selection and Timeline

  • Applications are reviewed by internal G3 Engineering & Surveying teams, with final recipients selected by designated members of the G3 Advisory Board.
  • Application deadline: April 27
  • Recipients announced: May 1
  • Scholarships awarded: August 1
